Recent Good Form Continues

Newport Town kept up their recent good form with a 2-1 away win at Wellington Reserves to stay top of the Shropshire County Premier League.

Town went into the game having taken 25 points from a possible 33 without even playing to their true potential yet. It was a good win for Town considering AM's have taken points off all the teams competing with Town for top spot.

Town Back At The Top

Newport Town stormed back to the top of the Shropshire County Premier Division with a convincing 3-1 away win at Hodnet.

After last weeks heavy defeat at Ludlow, Town wanted to bounce back and give a good performance. Town did just that and started by giving a busy Hodnet team nothing. Callum Muir, Liam Bould and Matty Adkins controlled the midfield and the return of Jay Ainsworth, Rob Corfield and Jez Harman caused havoc for the Hodnet defense.
